Lisa Emezaga
Expertise:
Mrs. Lisa Amezaga is an Immigration Paralegal at Lopez Immigration.
She works on family based immigration cases, Deferred Action cases, permanent residency, consular processes, I-601a waivers, U Visas, Violence Against Women ACT (VAWA), and citizenship requests.
Prior to joining Lopez Immigration, Mrs. Amezaga worked for Kuck Baxter Immigration and Weinstock Immigration as an Immigration Paralegal.
Education:
Mrs. Amezaga earned her Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology, with a minor in Addiction Studies from John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City in 2010 and her Paralegal Certificate from Kennesaw University in 2014.
Mrs. Amezaga has a passion to help the immigrant Latino Community; she can personally relate to the many challenges they face as an immigrant herself.
She came to the United States from Colombia when she was only ten years old and has resided in New Jersey and Georgia since then.
Cynthia Toro
Legal assistant
Ms. Cynthia Toro currently works as a legal assistant for López Immigration LLC.
She is dedicated to assisting clients with their family immigration processes, among her functions is preparing translations, forms and applications to submit to Immigration in cases such as residency, naturalization cases, consular processes, requests to remove residence conditions. and for U visas among others.
In addition, she works in the Marketing area.
Education:
Before serving as a paralegal, Ms. Toro obtained a Bachelor of Education with a specialty in Biology from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico.
She graduated Magna Cum laude and earned the Academic Excellence award for his academic performance.
Ms. Toro belonged to the student council of her university where she made important decisions on behalf of the student body.
She also acquired a General Clerk certification.
Among her work experiences; she taught high school student biology, then worked in Marketing at a clothing company, and later as a document control specialist at her husband’s engineering company.
